When I launched the events arm of SIU, my aim was crystal clear: to establish a welcoming environment where women from diverse business backgrounds could truly be themselves and create genuine connections.

Each event was and is meticulously planned with a specific purpose in mind. I wanted attendees to
understand why they were coming, and this intentional approach ensured that everyone arrived with the right mindset, attracting like-minded individuals.

With over 13 events under our belt and more than $35,000 raised for amazing charities, it’s evident that our community thrives on positivity, connection, and a shared desire to learn, grow and support one another.

I’m strong in my stance: if you don’t bring a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to  connect and learn, then our space isn’t the right fit for you. By setting this standard, we’ve created a safe place where ideas flow freely, business strategies are discussed openly, and personal development is nurtured within a supportive and inclusive environment.
